Bihar Police Sub Inspector – Qualifications

Candidates who have completed graduation in any faculty from a recognised university can apply for these posts. The age of general and economically weaker section candidates should be at least 20 years and a maximum of 37 years. Candidates of reserved categories will be exempted from the maximum age limit.

Bihar Police SI Physical Standard Test

The physical standards required by the candidates are given below:

Height-

(।) For men of unreserved (general) category and backward classes

Minimum height. Should be 65 centimetres.

(2) For the most backward class, scheduled caste and scheduled tribe men

The minimum height should be 60 centimetres.

For women of all categories

Minimum height. 55 centimetres and minimum weight should be 48 kgs.

Chest (for men only) – For men of unreserved (general) category, backward class and most backward classes

• Un inflated – 8 centimetres (minimum)
• Inflating – 86 centimetres (minimum)

(It will be mandatory to have a gap of at least 5 centimetres in the chest after inflating).

For SC and ST men

• Un inflated – 79 centimetres (minimum)
• Inflating – 84 centimetres (minimum)

(It will be mandatory to have a gap of at least 5 centimetres in the chest after inflating).

Physical Proficiency Test – Candidates will be required to succeed in the following physical proficiency test.
Race.

For Men-

Deadline for a one-mile race – 6 minutes 30 seconds (candidates taking more time will be declared unsuccessful).
For Women

Deadline for one kilometer race – 6 minutes (candidates taking more time will be declared unsuccessful).

Bihar Police Sub Inspector Exam Pattern

Written Test – A joint written competition test will be conducted by the Written Competitive Examination Commission for all candidates. The written test will be in two phases such as preliminary and main examination. All the letters of the written test will be based on multiple choice questions.

Preliminary Examination– Preliminary Examination will consist of a paper of 200 marks with a total of questions
